Welcome.
These pages are devoted to the Parish Councils opposition to the proposed Psychiatric Hospital here in Barlborough.
As you are probably aware, Waystone Limited has made an appeal to the Secretary of State in respect of proposal detailed below (in point 3). Barlborough Parish Council is engaging Ken Burley (the Planning Consultant who has previously represented the Parish Council on this application) to submit a response to the Planning Inspectorate on behalf of the Barlborough community.
Ken has stressed that “At this point it really is ever so important that the community expresses its opposition in the strongest terms to The Planning Inspectorate (PINS) by the due date. In other words, to send in letters to PINS as before, expressing cogently why the community is so opposed to this proposal.”
1. What you need to do next:
a. If you made comments to Bolsover District Council regarding the original application, you now need to submit those same comments to the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol.
