A number of local walk leaflets have been produced which incorporate Barlborough's history, and the wide diversity of flora and fauna en route. They are a culmination of a great deal of local knowledge and have been researched and illustrated by pupils of Clowne Heritage School. The leaflets have recently been updated and reprinted thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
