The Little School restoration is now complete. The work has been made possible with £100,000 in grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and English Heritage. The grants were to restore the exterior of the building. The interior and grounds of the building were refurbished as part of Granada Television's 'With a Little Help from my Friends' programme. The Parish Council is taking over the lease for the building on a long term basis. This is so that it can be opened for the benefit of the residents of Barlborough.
